TATTOO FAQ

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

You may phone, email or come by the shop in person to book an appointment. It is best before making an appointment to have an idea of what concept you have for your tattoo, what style of art you would like (realistic, traditional, neotraditional, cartoon, black/grey, colour etc.), what size you would like your tattoo to be, and lastly what part of the body you would like it.

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

We will try to accommodate walk-ins when our artists have availability, however it is strongly suggested to book your appointment ahead of time to ensure we can get you in.

DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?

In most cases yes, you will need to have a consultation for your tattoo. However, depending on the complexity of the design a consultation over the phone may suffice.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE?

You must be 18 years of age or older with valid government photo ID to be tattooed.

HOW MUCH IS A DEPOSIT AND WHY DO I NEED TO MAKE IT?

In order to secure your appointment, a $50 minimum deposit is required to be made to the artist. For longer appointments, deposits will be based on the estimated number of hours your appointment is. This deposit will be taken off your total amount owed at the end of your appointment. This is required to ensure that our artists are compensated for their time spent designing, drawing, and preparing for a tattoo appointment in the case of a no-show or cancellation. We require at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling or cancellations, otherwise the deposit is forfeit.

DOES IT HURT?

Pain is a subjective experience and there are many factors which can influence the experience of being tattooed. This can include factors such as placement on the body, length of appointment and your general health. To minimize discomfort, we recommend you get a good nights sleep the night before your appointment and make sure to eat a healthy and filling meal before you get tattooed!
